I'm going to The tallest man on earth! I had bought the tickets quite a while ago but I haven't told you till just now. It's going to be so much fun, if you follow my blog you probably already know that I love his music. I'm going to the concert with my boyfriend and a friend.

lately I'm pretty busy with school n stuff, thats why I'm not posting that often anymore. But my life is going pretty well, It just took me some time to get in the school rhythm again. I've been writing some poems lately, in dutch so I'm not going to share them. yesterday I had a very happy moment playing banjo at sunset in my backyard. And the photo above is from a little feather collecting photo trip I had last week. And I love listening to the new vinyl record I bought, The last waltz from The band. I can find some happiness in these things, and even though I have some bad days too I think my life is quite enjoyable at the moment, a little busy but enjoyable.

these are the first sentences from the song everything by Ben Howard. Ben Howard really is one of my favorites, pretty awesome music combined with pretty awesome lyrics. The wolves is an other favorite of mine. well I guess I just love all of his music, he should make a new album.

 

I guess the reason that I have this lyrics project is for a bit to share my favorite music but for a bigger part to practice with my (poster) design skills. I like creating these images. all of them are pics form vacations or random walks assembled with a quote form one of my favorite artists. And even tough these are not my most popular posts I don't stop making them because it are some of the posts I enjoy most making. And that is what blogging should be about don't you think? sharing stuff you like creating or talking about.

the wedding band includes Mumford and sons and some of their friends. They made one EP called the first dance. I really love these songs. This one is called thumper. If you like Mumford and sons you should try this too. I really like she said yes too

Passenger is one of my new favorite artists. He has some really great songs and great lyrics too, like "I hate pointless status updates on facebook". I think that one to be funny. The picture is one I took in Rome, in the sunset sun on a bridge. enjoying the warmth of our last day in Rome. just like some other passengers did.

I love my life

I love my life. I love it because:
1.I like myself,
and I think everybody should. I mean that you would like to be friends with yourself. And if you woudn't you will need to change something. Nothing (big) to change? that means your a nice person and you shouldn't be insecure.
2. I'm lucky,
I'm lucky to have such good friends and the best boyfriend of all. And I'm blessed with so much more, I'm blessed with sunny days, with warm smiles, with nice songs in my ears, with warm fires in the fireplace, with yummy food,with a warm bed, a nice house and I can make up a shipload of other things.

While writing this I noticed I have so much and there is no need to envy others for anything because I have so much. Of course my life isn't perfect at all but I love it

I really like this quote, just like I really like the song its from, Love Lust by King Charles. I song it a lot today. The picture I used is me and Tim in a meadow (including birds and cows). It was the first photo I shared on facebook of us. I faded it a lot and putted the quote in frond.

I really now the feeling of aw I really don't want to go outside (can't you see that it's just raining) lets stay inside and pretend like it's the weekend. But I never did, I always drive bravely through the rain to school.  yeah well...

lyrics project

I don't think loving someone with your whole heart is a fault, but it can hurt if the person you give your heart don't treat it right. Thats what this lyrics is about, its from my favorite band Mumford and sons from the song white blank page. And now they have a new album :)
this is the start of a lyrics project of mine, I'll make some blog posts about lyrics an other inspirational quotes. I always listen to lyrics when I listen to songs sometimes I do remember a sentence of a song but not the melodies. Do you have some favorite song quotes?

Today was a beautiful day.  At our calendar I found this quote and I loved it. I putted it in frond of a blurry sun picture I made today. I really like to take blurry pictures of the sun: you just have to focus close while you take the picture and than this would be the result. Feel free to share it but please give some feedback.
