Today was a beautiful day.  At our calendar I found this quote and I loved it. I putted it in frond of a blurry sun picture I made today. I really like to take blurry pictures of the sun: you just have to focus close while you take the picture and than this would be the result. Feel free to share it but please give some feedback. summer time

summer, wonderful summer, glorious summer. I love summer!
I'm back from my sailing camp and it was fun, although the rain. and now I'm looking forward to tomorrow, because I'm going to pick up Emma at the airport. here are some photos of my beloved summer time.

goodby for now

Tomorrow I'm leaving for two weeks. I am going to sail and chill. Its a summer camp and I do it every year. when I come back Emma comes over for 3 weeks so there won't be loads of posting than either. and in the 6st week of my vacation I will go with a friend of mine to buitenkunst, an awsome camping where you can paint and dance and act. and the last week will be mine and my boyfriends so. but after that I will have loads to tell you and many photos to share. enjoy your summer!

what have I done?!

Well I went to the goodbye party of a friend of mine who is going to live in the USA for one year. It was really nice and fun, we slept outside in her garden and jumped on her trampoline, sang songs by the fire and ate marshmallows, jumjum.

 I made her this camera strap, based on this tutorial.

I love the ij-hallen, its an second-hand market in Amsterdam, its once a month. If your in the Netherlands I highly recommend going there. I love the terrain where, with its big cranes and halls, its an old shipyard. It is the biggest second-hand market in the Netherlands, 700 stalls. Normally I don't really like flee-markets because most of the things they sell are .. lets just say not for me hehe. But at the ij-hallen they sell such lovely clothes and awesome vintage cameras :) and so much more.

last time I was there I saw a Gemma-jeans, and I bought my shirt.

denim shirt

I love shirts, denim shirts, tribal prints, this DIY, but what I love the most is the combination of them: this shirt. I sewed a piece of a scarf of my mom on this denim shirt. I wanted to do this since I bought the shirt second had for only 6 euros, (its Levi's!).

Friday it was my birth day, and I turned 16. Now I am allowed to buy alcohol and cigarettes... jay, but I am not going to. With my friends I celebrated my birthday a few weeks ago. And the summer vacation is coming soon so my life couldn't be better :)
